Community Involvement
After personally being affected and feeling the impact of charity, Emmett and his family who were personally impacted by Hurrican Katrina, realize the importance of giving back. Emmett volunteers with the St. Bernard Recreation Department as a coach and has been doing so for 16 years.
Emmett also seeing the impact that Salvation Army provided to his community has volunteered for them for several years during the holiday season as a bell ringer. In addition Emmett and his wife Jennifer donate their time and effort to the Our Lady of Prompt Succor school in Chalmette as co-chairpersons of the annual OLPS Who's Who? and have volunteered for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Emmett and his family are members of the Old Arabi Neighborhood Association and Emmett belongs to the Firemens Charitable and Benevolent Association.
